Additionally, our Emma mattresses feature motion isolation and have easy-to-clean and removable covers. The Original Elite Mattress is the most advanced in terms of cooling and breathability. It’s 27 cm high with seven layers and seven support zones, featuring AirGrid® technology that maximizes airflow and keeps the sleeping surface fresh. The Original Pro Mattress, also 27 cm tall with six layers and seven zones, offers adaptive temperature control, keeping you cool in summer and comfortably warm in winter. The Original+ Mattress stands 25 cm tall and combines five layers with five support zones, using the InfinitySpring system and memory foam for balanced pressure relief and strong support. Finally, the Original Lite Mattress, at 22 cm with four layers and three zones, has a medium-soft feel designed for balanced comfort in a slightly lower profile.

All our Hybrid mattresses are designed to promote proper spinal alignment across all sleeping positions and body types. The combination of adaptive foams and individually pocketed springs ensures that every part of your body receives the right level of support while absorbing and isolating movement to prevent it from spreading across the bed. Compared to traditional all-foam mattresses, our Hybrid design provides a more balanced feel—supportive yet comfortably adaptive—with added responsiveness that makes it easy to move and stay comfortable throughout the night.

We use high-performance materials in all our mattresses. At our state-of-the-art test lab in Frankfurt, Germany, we test durability to ensure minimal deformation, usually less than a 5% change in height, even after 10 years of simulated use. This means you’ll enjoy the same comfort and support throughout the mattress’s lifespan. If you ever experience a material defect, our 10-year guarantee will cover it.

Motion transfer happens when your partner’s movements on one side of the bed travel to your side and disturb your sleep. All our mattresses are designed to minimize this, thanks to motion-absorbing memory foam layers.

For those concerned about bouncy spring mattresses, don’t worry, our hybrid models use modern pocket springs, with each coil individually wrapped to move independently. This ensures that movement isn’t transferred between sides of the bed.

By integrating body zones with resilient materials, our mattresses contour to your body’s natural shape, giving more support where it’s needed (hips and lower back) and more give where it’s beneficial (shoulders). This is why the springs in our hybrid models compress to varying degrees. For most sleepers who want maximum targeted support with balanced comfort, our Original Pro and Original Elite Mattress stand out because they include the most support zones.

Firmness levels describe feel rather than a direct measure of comfort or ergonomics. Preference varies by body type and sleep position. Most Emma mattresses sit in the medium to medium-soft range, designed to relieve pressure while keeping your spine aligned. ‘Zones’ are distinct areas of the mattress with different firmness or spring tension to tailor support across the body.

Our Emma mattresses are conveniently roll-packed in an easy-to-handle cardboard box. A special vacuum process gently compresses and rolls the mattress, allowing even larger sizes to fit inside. This space-saving method makes delivery more eco-friendly and easier to move around your home.

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer old mattress removal yet. However, we recommend checking local charities or donation services to give your old mattress a second life. We are working for you to offer this service soon.

Yes, if your new Emma mattress has an odor at first, it’s completely normal. The smell is harmless and should disappear after airing the mattress out for up to 72 hours.

The risk-free 200-night trial is an exclusive benefit for Emma customers. It begins the day your item is delivered. We offer this because we believe the best way to know if an Emma product is right for you is to sleep on it for an extended period, most people need a few days or weeks to fully adjust.

If at any point during the 200 nights you feel the product isn’t the perfect fit, you can return it for a full refund, no questions asked. Simply contact our Customer Service team via the chat function (ChatBot) at the bottom right of your screen to arrange a pickup and refund. Once your return has been collected and processed, please allow up to 14 days to receive your refund.

We proudly assemble our Original Pro Topper right here in Ireland, using high-quality, locally produced foam from a trusted Dublin-based manufacturer with over a century of expertise in foam innovation.

In Ireland, we offer both Standard and European mattress sizes. The main difference is length: European mattresses are slightly longer (200 cm vs. 190 cm) and sometimes a bit wider. For example, a Standard Double measures 135×190 cm, while a European Double is 140×200 cm. Similarly, a Standard King is 150×200 cm, and a European Queen is 160×200 cm. The Super King (180×200 cm) is the same for both.

If your bed frame or bedding was purchased from UK or Irish retailers, you’ll likely need a Standard size. When in doubt, measure your current mattress or frame before placing your order.

Yes, just check the height of your selected mattress (22–27 cm) and choose fitted sheets with enough pocket depth. Deep-fit sheets are ideal for the Original Elite Mattress and Original Pro Mattress models (27 cm). The Emma Mattress Protector fits all our mattresses and also leaves room for a topper if you use one.
