Emma NextGen Premium Mattress is created for the love of better sleep and our planet. Our core layer of pocket springs is consciously designed with recycled steel and uses 79% less foam than our previous foam mattress – without compromising on your sleep quality. The core of the NextGen Premium mattress emits 58% less carbon equivalent per kg than the core of our foam mattresses. The calculation was done in 2022 with carbon accounting software Planetly by OneTrust. Planetly by OneTrust applies the averaging methodology in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. The average data method is a material-based assessment of supply chain emissions using emission factors from secondary sources, such as industry averages or estimation activities.
